Elektroprivreda Crne Gore AD Nikšić (EPCG) has launched an open tender to select a contractor for the development of the Main Project for the Krupac Solar Power Plant, with an estimated value of €125,000.
The planned solar power plant will be located on the shore of Krupac Lake, in the village of Stuba, about five kilometers from the center of Nikšić. According to the technical and technological characteristics report, the total installed capacity is expected to reach 41.81 MWp.
The project is part of EPCG’s strategy to reduce CO₂ emissions and gradually replace coal with renewable energy sources, aligning with sustainable development goals and cooperation with the European Union.
The Krupac Solar Power Plant will involve the installation of photovoltaic modules on supporting structures, connecting them into strings, feeding into inverters, and further linking to low-voltage blocks at the substation. The plant will be connected to the transmission system through the construction of a 110 kV power line, which will link to the future 220/110 kV Trubjela transformer station.
The Main Project will cover architectural and construction aspects, technological specifications, technical equipment, installations, as well as the preliminary measurement and cost estimates for all works.
