The European Investment Bank (EIB) is ready to support new transportation infrastructure projects planned by Montenegro, EIB Vice President Robert de Groot stated yesterday.
During the International Transport Forum in Leipzig, de Groot met with Montenegro’s Minister of Transport, Maja Vukićević, the Ministry reported.
The meeting focused on current EIB-supported projects in Montenegro, particularly the modernization of railway infrastructure, and explored opportunities to intensify future cooperation.
Minister Vukićević expressed gratitude for the ongoing support, emphasizing that Montenegro views the EIB as a strategic partner in implementing key infrastructure investments that contribute to sustainable development and improved national connectivity.
