During the recent holiday period, Durmitor National Park recorded strong tourist attendance, welcoming visitors from across the globe. Special tours were organized for tourists from the Baltic states.
Aldis from the Latvian travel agency Impro Travel said they bring groups of around 40 people to Montenegro almost every week from May to October. He praised Montenegro’s diverse appeal: the southern coast for sunshine and beaches—recommending Budva, the Bay of Kotor, and the town of Kotor—and the northern region for its nature, particularly Žabljak and the Black Lake.
A tourist from Lithuania shared similar enthusiasm, noting it was her first time in Montenegro and highlighting the mountains as a must-see for Lithuanians, who don’t have similar landscapes.
Visitors from Amsterdam also enjoyed their stay. After visiting Kotor and hiking near Šavnik, they had just arrived at Durmitor National Park and expressed excitement about exploring more of the area.
