Czech tour operators are interested in including Montenegro in the programs they offer to their clients, it was announced at a business workshop and presentation organized in Prague by the National Tourist Organization (NTO) in cooperation with Air Montenegro.
The NTO said that the business workshop was an opportunity to present the attractiveness of Montenegro, and to connect the Montenegrin tourism industry with tour operators, travel agencies and media from the Czech Republic.
The business workshop was realized as part of the Holiday World & Region World tourism fair in Prague, which started on Friday and ends today, and at which local tourist organizations and the Montenegrin tourism industry presented the entire offer of Montenegro.
Representatives of NTO, local tourist organizations and business held numerous meetings with tour operators, who showed great interest in including Montenegro or rich programs for Montenegro, which they already offer to their clients.
The representative of the tour operator Travel Family, Jan Ryska, said that there is great interest in the Montenegrin market, and that such meetings are the best opportunity to achieve some concrete cooperation with the tourism industry.
“Montenegro is a wonderful country and I have had partners in Montenegro for many years. During the meeting, I saw some new interesting things about your destination, and made important contacts. “I met potential partners and I hope for successful cooperation during this and the next years,” said Ryska.
The director of the Time Travel tourist agency, Miroslav Radaković, announced that the Czech market knows Montenegro well and that current projections show that this year will be extremely successful in terms of the number of Czech tourists.
“I deeply believe that after this kind of presentation, Montenegro should be on the map of favorite vacation destinations. It is very easy to bring tourists during the summer months, and I am glad that the activities of NTO and Air Montenegro during the previous year were aimed at promoting the northern part of the country, and the possibility of combining vacations in the north and south, with good air connections, which can enable Montenegro becomes a year-round destination for Czech tourists,” said Radaković.
The tourism Industry and local tourist organizations that participated in the workshop have high expectations from that market and believe that such workshops are the fastest way to reach clients.
The representative of the tourist organization Montenegro Tourist Service (MTS), Miloš Bulatovič, praised the initiative for organizing a business workshop.
“We need as many similar workshops as possible, where through direct meetings between businessmen concrete agreements are made and new ideas are born.” Serious tour operators and agencies from all over the Czech Republic took part in the specific workshop, and we expect concrete results already this season,” said Bulatović.
The workshop was attended by some of the most important Czech and Slovak media, and on this occasion the flights of the national airline Air Montenegro, which is a strategic partner of NTO, were announced.
The director of sales and customer support of Air Montenegro, Dejan Pižurica, said that, bearing in mind the potential that Montenegro has on the Czech market, they made great efforts to ensure good air connectivity.
“Together with NTO, we realized extremely successful study visits by tour operators and the media, and during this workshop we had the pleasure of presenting the announced flights on the route Tivat – Prague, Tivat – Brno and Podgorica – Bratislava, and we are sure that such a good connection will result in an excellent visit with the Czech and Slovak markets,” said Pižurica.
According to him, Air Montenegro will have direct flights to Prague from May 18 to October 15, two to four times a week, while direct flights to Brno will be in the period from June 15 to September 23 twice daily. He also announced a good connection with the Slovak market.

Our goal is to ensure good attendance from the Slovakian market as well, and in the coming period we will have promotional activities aimed at that market as well,” announced Vujović.
