Total customs revenue collection in June amounted to 129.53 million euros, representing an increase of 18.17 million euros or 16.32% compared to the same month last year.
According to the Customs Administration, June’s revenue exceeded the planned target by 4.71 million euros, or 3.77%.
Value-added tax (VAT) on imports accounted for 87.08 million euros, which is 13.25 million euros or 17.95% higher than June last year.
Excise duties collected reached 35.72 million euros, up by 3.57 million euros or 11.1% compared to the previous year. Customs duties amounted to 6.39 million euros, an increase of 1.26 million euros or 24.45%. Revenue from coffee tax was 327,710 euros, while other revenues totaled 22,950 euros.
For the period from January 1 to June 30, total customs revenues reached 650.18 million euros, up 57.34 million euros or 9.67% compared to the same period last year. Revenue collection for the first half of the year exceeded the planned target by 24.48 million euros or 3.91%.
