The Customs Administration has achieved a gross revenue collection of 1.18 billion euros from January to the end of November, marking an increase of 104 million euros, or 9.6%, compared to the same period last year.
The Customs Administration stated that the revenue target for the January-November period was exceeded by 19.2 million euros, or approximately 2%.
- In November, the Customs Administration continued the positive trend of customs revenue collection, significantly contributing to the overall increase in budget revenues, along with the implementation of strong fiscal policies – the statement said.
According to the structure of collected revenues, the most significant growth was recorded in excise duties, which amounted to 351.1 million euros, an increase of 50.5 million euros or 16.8% compared to the same period last year.
The gross revenue collection from value-added tax (VAT) on imports was 775.2 million euros, which is 46.3 million euros or 6.3% higher than in the same period last year. Customs duties revenue amounted to 55.1 million euros, which was 7 million euros, or 14.7% higher compared to the previous year.
The collection from coffee tax amounted to 2.4 million euros, with other revenues totaling around 160 thousand euros.
- The total customs revenue collection for November was 103.18 million euros, an increase of 12.96 million euros or 14.36% compared to the same period last year – the Customs Administration reported.
Compared to the plan for November, gross revenues were higher by 2.55 million euros, or 2.53%.
The most significant revenue growth was recorded in excise duties, which amounted to 32.4 million euros, an increase of 8.6 million euros or 36% compared to the same period last year.
The gross VAT revenue from imports amounted to 66 million euros, an increase of 4 million euros, or 6.5% compared to the previous year.
Customs duties collection was 4.6 million euros, 8% higher compared to the same period last year.
