The Tender Commission for awarding the concession for the airports in Podgorica and Tivat has completed its work. At its final session, the commission unanimously adopted key documents related to the evaluation process, according to the commission president and Deputy Prime Minister Nik Đeljošaj.
The commission approved the report on the evaluation of bids, including the ranking of bidders and the reasoning behind it, as well as the official record of the entire process of opening, reviewing, and assessing the offers. All decisions were made in accordance with commission procedures and with the participation of all members.
The adopted documents will become legally valid upon approval of the session minutes and will be forwarded to the Ministry of Transport within the legal deadline.
Đeljošaj rejected claims published by the daily newspaper Vijesti, calling them dangerous and false. He stated that a commission member had leaked confidential information to the public, compromising the process, and claimed there had been attempts to falsify the commission’s work, particularly regarding the fact that the scoring process was repeated.
Further decisions regarding the concession will now be made by the Ministry of Transport.
