The closure of three negotiation chapters represents a historic moment and a confirmation of Montenegro’s European future, said the Vice President of the Government for Economic Policy and Minister of Economic Development, Nik Gjeloshaj.
He described this as a significant moment for Montenegro.
At the Intergovernmental Conference held in Brussels on Monday, Montenegro closed three negotiating chapters after seven years of negotiations.
The chapters closed were Chapter 7 – Intellectual Property Rights, Chapter 10 – Information Society and Media, and Chapter 20 – Entrepreneurship and Industrial Policy.
“Closing these three chapters, to which we made a strong contribution, is a historic moment and a confirmation of Montenegro’s European future,” Gjeloshaj added.
He emphasized that they have worked diligently and made a significant step toward achieving the country’s main goal – Montenegro’s EU membership by 2028.
