The Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG) and the National Security Agency (ANB) emphasized that continued dialogue is key to strengthening cooperation and supporting the country’s European perspective.
At a meeting between CBCG Director Irena Radović and ANB Director Ivica Janović, the importance of a strong cooperation framework was highlighted, particularly in recognizing, monitoring, and responding to risks linked to economic and financial flows.
Special focus was placed on combating money laundering and terrorist financing, which require effective control mechanisms and strong, independent institutions. The discussion also covered recent results achieved by CBCG teams and the ongoing challenges faced by the institution.
