The national airline Air Montenegro concluded the previous year with a positive financial result, reporting a profit of €540,000, according to a statement provided to the media.
The company’s total revenue in 2024 amounted to €62.82 million, reflecting a 0.8% increase compared to the previous year. Air Montenegro operated flights to 19 regular destinations in 2024, one more than in 2023, and completed a total of 5,796 flights, marking an 8.3% growth.
The number of passengers also increased – in 2024, the national airline transported 498,833 passengers on both regular and charter services, a 5% rise. The average cabin occupancy rate was 69.2%, 1.2% higher than in 2023.
These positive business trends continued in the first quarter of this year. From January to March, Air Montenegro conducted a total of 940 flights, a 27% increase compared to the same period in 2024. During this quarter, 75,306 passengers were transported, reflecting an impressive 44% growth compared to the first three months of the previous year. The average cabin occupancy rate also increased significantly, reaching 70.65%, a 17% rise compared to the same period in 2024.
“The positive financial results of 2024 and the strong start to 2025 show that Air Montenegro is on a clear path to growth and development. We are focused on further improving our services and enhancing Montenegro’s connectivity with the region and key European destinations,” said Vukadin Stojanović, the company’s CEO.
