The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, Vladimir Joković, who visited a chip factory in Tuzi, urged everyone to buy domestic products.
Alongside the Mayor of Tuzi, Lindon Đeljaj, Joković had the opportunity to closely observe all stages of the chip production process, from selecting raw materials to the final product.
The factory management also presented the production capacity, technologies used, and the sales methods employed in the market.
According to a statement from the Municipality of Tuzi, Đeljaj informed Joković about the development plans the municipality is implementing for agriculture, as well as the subsidies planned for this year, totaling 589,000 euros.
Đeljaj also called for inter-institutional cooperation to support local businesses.
Joković praised the factory staff for their dedication.
“This visit highlighted the importance of institutional support for businesses, which play a crucial role in the country’s economic development and in creating new jobs,” the statement concluded.
