The municipality of Herceg Novi sold its land in Žvinje, with an area of almost 23,000 square meters, at a public auction for an initial price of 1,146,000.00 euros. Now the contract has been published, so it is known who the buyer is, Saša Dragaš from Slovakia.
Saša Dragaš is a Slovak table tennis coach, who led the Slovak para national team and working with the youngest categories won several important medals and returned Slovak table tennis to the top of Europe. That is why the Table Tennis Association of Montenegro hired him in 2020 to improve our table tennis, and he is still engaged as a national coach.
In the next five years, a sports complex consisting of a hall, open sports fields, an open swimming pool with three lanes, as well as cultural and recreational facilities consisting of an amphitheater and children’s playgrounds should be built on the Žvinje site. The plan is also to build a restaurant and summer garden, an annex and an apart-hotel.
