Porto Montenegro is set for a promising 2025 summer season, marking a major step forward in positioning itself as a leading Mediterranean destination, said David Margason, CEO of Adriatic Marinas, during a meeting with Montenegro’s Minister of Tourism, Simonida Kordić.
During her visit to the nautical resort ahead of the peak summer season, Kordić discussed the resort’s current performance, future development plans, and strategies for promoting Tivat and Montenegro as attractive tourist destinations. Margason noted expectations for record marina attendance, driven by increased international media visibility and a growing number of visitors from key markets such as the U.S., the Middle East, and Western Europe.
Kordić emphasized Porto Montenegro’s importance to the national tourism offer, highlighting its high-quality and diverse services tailored to affluent modern travelers.
The visit also showcased new additions, including internationally recognized restaurants—among them one by renowned British chef Jamie Oliver—and the newly opened Boka Place project, launched at the end of May. A rich cultural and entertainment program is planned for the summer, aiming to further enhance Tivat’s appeal.
The Ministry stated that the visit is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation with key tourism stakeholders and promote Montenegro as a luxurious, sustainable, and globally recognized destination.
