According to the latest data from the local Tourist Organization, there are currently 5,550 tourists staying in Tivat.
Of these, 5,510 are foreign visitors, while only 39 are domestic guests. Compared to last year, tourist traffic has increased by 2%, and there is a significant 19% rise compared to 2019.
Private accommodation remains the most popular choice, with 4,510 guests opting for this type of stay, of which only two are domestic tourists. This segment has seen a 4% growth compared to the previous year and a 20% increase compared to 2019, according to Radio Tivat.
Hotels have hosted a total of 955 tourists, including 918 foreigners and 37 locals. Although this represents a 6% decrease compared to the same period last year, there is still an 11% increase compared to 2019.
Campsites and resorts report modest visitor numbers: only four guests stayed in campsites, while resorts welcomed 85 visitors. All guests in these categories are foreign tourists. There has been no growth compared to the previous year.
Regarding the nationality of guests, the largest group comes from Serbia, accounting for 32.17% of visitors. They are followed by tourists from Russia (26.2%), Turkey (7.13%), the United Kingdom, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
A significant number of arrivals also come from Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Germany, Israel, and the United States.
The data clearly indicate a growing trend in interest for private accommodation, especially among guests from the region, with a particular focus on tourists from Serbia and Russia.
