The tower block (soliter) of the first phase of the “Simo Milošević” Institute in Igalo will this season be used to house seasonal workers for businesses in Herceg Novi, while the main building accommodates guests of the recreational health facility.
Marketing Director Slobodan Slavić explained that the first phase is divided into the main building for guests and the tower block for seasonal workers. The facilities opened on June 1, with guests arriving through agencies who booked in advance.
Demand for accommodation is growing as the peak season approaches, both from tourists and local businesses needing housing for seasonal staff working in Herceg Novi.
Most guests at the institute come from the region, including patients referred by health funds and unions, with fewer foreign guests during this period. Interest peaks in July, August, and especially September, when weather conditions are more suitable for therapy.
Room rates during July and August are €30 per night with breakfast in a non-air-conditioned room, and €35 with air conditioning. This includes accommodation and breakfast only, without therapy services.
With higher occupancy than last year expected, the institute anticipates a better season overall.
