Sozina Tunnel serves 1.55 million vehicles so far this year

Sozina Tunnel has serviced 1.55 million vehicles since the start of the year, according to Monteput, which operates it.

Last year, 3.78 million vehicles passed through the tunnel, up from 3.52 million in 2023 and 3.07 million in 2022.

Opened in July 2005, Sozina Tunnel is 4.19 km long and connects Montenegro’s coastal region with its central area. The total cost of its construction was about €74 million, with €50 million provided by Montenegro and €24 million through a European Investment Bank (EIB) loan.
