Monteput has announced a tender for the design of a new section of the Bar-Boljare highway, covering the 41.5-kilometer route from Tološi to Virpazar.
The estimated cost for the conceptual design is 4.1 million euros, excluding VAT, with a completion deadline of 14 months from the contract signing.
This project represents a significant step in developing Montenegro’s transport infrastructure, improving connectivity between the central and southern regions.
The planned section includes construction of key structures such as the Farmaci, Rijeka Crnojevića, and Virpazar interchanges, along with several tunnels and bridges to navigate the challenging terrain. Completion of this conceptual design will finalize the designs for all sections of the Bar-Boljare highway.
