The northern region of Montenegro has long been neglected, despite possessing most of the country’s natural resources. We welcome the interest from investors who could provide a new developmental boost to this area.
This was stated by the President of the Municipality of Žabljak, Radoš Žugić, in an interview with Bankar.me, responding to questions about the anticipated arrival of Mohamed Alabbar to northern Montenegro and whether such an investment could contribute to the valorization of the potential of the Žabljak municipality.
“The Municipality of Žabljak is certainly pleased to welcome all investors who are ready to invest their capital into sustainable projects based on the principles of sustainable development, and which do not harm the environment or protected areas,” said Žugić, as quoted by Bankar.me.
He added that the development of elite tourism is the future of Žabljak, and for this reason, they are ready to create conditions to make this a reality.
