Local sustainability efforts were showcased by Tivat Mayor Željko Komnenović, including recent implementations of electric maritime transport and upcoming plans for electrified public bus systems, demonstrating Montenegro’s commitment to green transition at the municipal level.
A key announcement came from President Jakov Milatović, who revealed a new scholarship program in collaboration with Sustineri Partners and Mtel to support Montenegrin students at world-leading universities. This initiative underscores the nation’s focus on developing future sustainability leaders through education.
The summit reinforces ESG principles as fundamental pillars for regional progress, with particular attention to environmental protection, social equity and transparent governance.
