Montenegro is an ideal place for investment, a safe country with great potential for further progress, according to the Minister of Tourism, Simonida Kordić.
During her visit to the Tourism Fair in Belgrade, she met with the Cuban Ambassador, Leidy Rodriguez Hernandez.
As announced by the Ministry of Tourism, Kordić invited the Cuban delegation to visit Montenegro in the near future, emphasizing the potential for collaboration that can and must be utilized.
She particularly highlighted wellness and health tourism as areas where experience and knowledge can be exchanged. Another aspect is the potential for investments in these sectors.
“Montenegro is ideal for investment – we are a safe country, soon to be an EU member, and a country that already has a reputation in the tourism world, with great opportunities for further development,” said Kordić.
The Cuban delegation expressed a strong interest in increasing tourism exchange with Montenegro, adding that they have numerous hotel brands that could be interested in the country.
Both sides agreed to conduct analyses of possible areas for cooperation, with Cuba also expressing interest in signing a memorandum of understanding, according to the statement.
