Magnum Residence, a modern luxury hotel in the center of Kolašin, which will operate under the Crowne Plaza brand, should be completed in the last quarter of 2024. The construction of the hotel is already underway. The company Magnum Development said that the investment in the condo hotel will exceed EUR 13 million.
– The hotel represents a unique investment project in the center of Kolašin, which will enrich the offer not only of that city, but also of the whole of Montenegro. The project of building a hotel in Kolašin, based on the condo business model, was approved by the Government of Montenegro in June 2022 to be included in the list of development projects in the field of tourism – Boban Bulatović, project manager at Magnum Development said.
The gross area of the hotel will be 11,368 m2, it is planned to have 105 units from 24 to 64 m2. Also, it will have additional contents that will enrich the offer of the facility itself.
– The complex includes a spa center, a gym, boutiques, a modernly designed swimming pool and a restaurant with 126 seats. A significant part of Magnum Residence will be a restaurant with an aperitif bar within the spacious hotel lobby, which will occupy an area of 270 m2 – says Bulatović.
Additional services will be available to future guests and apartment owners.
– They will be offered individual transfers (airport – hotel – ski center), individual and exclusive excursion programs, individual service for renting buggies, four-wheelers, bicycles, ski equipment, then service in high-level accommodation units, etc.
As a reminder, Magnum Development recently signed a cooperation agreement with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), so Magnum Residence will operate under the Crowne Plaza brand. The company points out that the cooperation with IHG and the selection of the Crowne Plaza brand is part of a long-term vision that the team of Magnum development and its advisor KB consulting turned into reality.
– Of course, IHG is already present in Montenegro and we are aware of how much their presence has enriched the tourist offer of Montenegro, given that it is one of the most famous groups in the world of hotel industry, recognized for its high standards and outstanding quality of service. We are honored and pleased that IHG chose our hotel for the expansion of their business in Montenegro, which means that we will be part of a group that has over 6,000 hotels and over 900,000 rooms in its portfolio – says Bulatović.
He points out that, at an exclusive location in the very center of the city, the hotel will also focus on the area of health tourism, which will represent a unique offer not only in Kolašin, but in the northern part of Montenegro in general.
– The offer conceived in this way, based on the concept of mountain health tourism, will ensure extremely good attendance at the hotel throughout the year, and not only during the winter and/or summer tourist season – he adds.
Speaking about the company’s plans for the next period, the interlocutor says that Magnum Development is a company that bases its growth and development on long-term planning and careful selection and development of investments, while introducing new business standards that will recommend them for even greater challenges.
– We are proud of the project that we are implementing in Kolašin and the value of which was recognized by the IHG group, but we will certainly not stop there, and as before, the public will be informed about each of our projects in a timely manner. It is important to note that our company, in addition to managing regular business processes, understands the importance of social responsibility through supporting the local community in the implementation of projects that contribute to improving the quality of life of the citizens of Kolašin – concludes Bulatović.
