This will be a fantastic season, the best in the last 20 years when it comes to hotel accommodation, Žarko Radulović, president of the Montenegrin tourist association CTU.
Radulović notes that the labor force situation was saved at the last moment by the labor force that came mainly from the region.
– I can’t say that the situation in that field is great, but it is an improvement – notes Radulović.
He underlines that all the parameters show that, as far as the number of guests is concerned, the season will be great, and the best season in the last two decades when it comes to hotel accommodation.
– Most of the guests at the moment are from the countries of the region. This summer we will have guests from all over the world. Western Europe, Israel, Kazakhstan, the Baltic countries… – says Radulović.
According to him, there are announcements that a significant number of tourists from Turkey will come to Montenegro this year, much higher than was the case until now.
When talking about problems, Radulović singles out infrastructural collapse and the problem with the gray zone.
Radulović underlined air availability as one of the key items in order for our tourism to achieve good results.
– Air availability is key. A lot has to be done there. It is important for us that the guest comes to Montenegro – says Radulović.
He warned that Montenegrin airports are an embarrassment and that this must be changed.
