The plan for granting concessions in the area of water for 2023 includes one source for exploitation, as well as one location for pumping underground water.
Namely, in the part of exploitation of springs, a concession is foreseen for one spring – Veliki Maljen in Gornja Bukovica, municipality of Šavnik. This spring is intended for the use of part of the water for bottling purposes for commercial purposes.
In the area of pumping underground water for technological needs, a concession is planned at the location of the Atlas capital center in Podgorica.
As announced, it is a document that enables the implementation of the procedure for granting concessions in the water area, as a form of encouraging private investments in the performance of economic activities of public interest, in order to achieve optimal valorization of natural resources.
– The plan refers to the analysis and assessment of the existing situation, in terms of the description of specific concessions, locations where concession activities can be carried out, justification of public interest and property-legal relations – it was clarified.
