Accor, the world’s leading hospitality group, is expanding its portfolio in Southeast Europe by signing a franchise agreement for Pullman Resort & Residences Bar Montenegro. Thanks to the partnership with Liko Soho Group, Montenegro welcomes the first hotel of the premium brand Accor. The resort, which will be located on the coast of the Adriatic Sea, will open its doors to its first guests by the end of 2025.
Located on the Bar Riviera, just 100m from the seashore, Pullman Resort & Residences Bar Montenegro will be the perfect destination for a summer vacation, Accor announced. Guests will not only have direct access to the beach, but will also have a wonderful view from 11 floors of the Adriatic Sea on one side and the mountain ranges on the other.
The hotel will be part of a mixed-use resort that will have branded housing units and enough supporting infrastructure for guests and the local community. The new hotel will offer tourists and business travelers 165 modern, comfortable and exclusive rooms, with 244 residential units.
– We are extremely excited to announce the first international five-star resort in Bar, which will have expanded facilities sufficient to meet the demanding needs of tourists and business travelers, as well as future residents. The signing of the franchise agreement for Pullman Resort & Residences Bar Montenegro represents an important milestone for one of the largest investment projects in Montenegro, and Accor is proud to participate in it – said Dilek Sezer, Accor’s development director for Southeast Europe.
– The first Pullman resort in the country is an excellent addition to Montenegrin’s big plans for the coming years. I am sure that the superior guest experience combined with stunning interiors and a dream location will make this hotel a top choice for travelers looking for their ideal vacation at sea – he added.
As part of a mixed-use resort, the new hotel will offer a wide range of high-end facilities for visitors and residents, such as SPA pools, massage and relaxation rooms, a gym, retail space, a children’s area and a unique beachfront heated seawater pool. Food lovers will find a number of options on offer: an all 3-course restaurant with a lobby bar, a Sports Bar for residents, an open-air Sky Bar on the terrace, a Spa Bar and a Pools & Waterside Bar in front of the hotel. One ballroom and three meeting rooms will be available to business guests.
The owner of Pullman Resort & Residences Bar Montenegro is the Liko Soho group.
– The signing of the franchise agreement for the first five-star premium hotel in Bar is one of the largest investment projects underway in Montenegro in the field of tourism and hospitality. Our biggest ambition from the very beginning was cooperation with an experienced partner who fits the size of the project. The established position of the world leader in the hospitality industry with many years of experience and a large portfolio of brands with global scope were the main factors in choosing Accor as a partner – said Igor Lysov, founder and majority shareholder of Liko Soho Group.
– We believe that the vast experience combined with our persistence will create a long and synergistic relationship that will bring success and encourage further development of the tourism industry in Montenegro – said Lysov.
The franchise agreement between Accor and Liko Soho Group was signed by representatives of both groups in Paris.
The founder and vice president of the Liko Soho Group, Rade Vujacic, stated on his Twitter account that this is a major turning point for his company, but also for the future of tourism and catering in Montenegro. Vujacic added that only in the first phase of the project, between 350-400 jobs will be created and almost 1000 during the tourist season. The opening of the Pullman Resort & Residences Bar Montenegro is planned for the end of 2025.
