The Chamber of Economy of Montenegro organized, for the first time, a national startup pavilion at Web Summit 2025, one of the world’s leading technology events held in Lisbon from November 10 to 13.
Seven Montenegrin startups — Bucketora, GoGrant, Gold Bear Technologies, Limo Express, LoRaSi, My Turn, Pillbie, and Skenify — showcased their innovations and attracted strong interest from international investors and partners on the first day of the summit.
Chamber President Nina Drakić said the initiative enhances the visibility of Montenegro’s startup ecosystem on the global stage, opening opportunities for investment, partnerships, and innovation growth. She emphasized that startups play a key role in diversifying the economy and improving business efficiency through technology.
Startup founder Batrić Krvavac, presenting Pillbie at the Montenegrin booth, highlighted the importance of Montenegro’s presence at major tech events like Web Summit for the future development of the country’s innovation community.
Branko Džakula, CEO of Secfix, presented Skenify, an AI-powered cybersecurity platform for small and medium-sized enterprises in Europe, noting the growing focus on cybersecurity in Montenegro’s public and private sectors.
Danilo Marić, founder of LoRaSi, which develops digital twin technology, said the event provided valuable insights into global innovation trends and investor interests. He noted that LoRaSi’s scalable solution for energy network monitoring and anomaly detection has potential applications across multiple industries and could contribute to creating a regional or European energy data-sharing network.
